Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 22, 2026

We keep this simple: we collect what we need to run our business, we don't sell your personal information, and we give you real control over your data. Here's exactly what that means.

This policy applies to psillysip.com and everything connected to it — our store, your account, our emails, and our customer support. If you use our services in any way, this policy covers you.

What We Collect

What you give us directly. When you place an order or create an account, you provide your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and payment details. Payment information is handled by our payment processors — we never store your full card number. If you reach out to us by email or leave a review, we keep a record of that too.

What we collect automatically. When you browse our site, we gather some basic technical information: your device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, and how you navigate the site — pages visited, products viewed, links clicked, and so on. This happens through cookies and similar technologies.

What we get from others. We receive information from Shopify (our store platform), payment processors, shipping carriers, and advertising partners. This is mostly to process your orders and understand how our marketing is performing.

How We Use It

We use your information to do five things:

Run your orders. Process payments, ship products, send order confirmations and tracking updates, handle returns, and support you when something goes wrong.

Make the site better. Understand how people use the site, remember your preferences, personalize product recommendations, and fix technical issues.

Reach you with things you might actually want. Send promotional emails, show you relevant ads on other platforms, and let you know about new products or offers. You can opt out of this at any time — see the section below on your rights.

Prevent fraud and keep accounts secure. Detect suspicious activity, protect against unauthorized access, and verify identity when needed.

Meet our legal obligations. Comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and enforce our policies.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it's being used. Essential cookies handle things like your cart and login session. Analytics cookies help us see traffic patterns. Marketing cookies enable personalized advertising.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect some site functionality. For details on the cookies Shopify sets, visit shopify.com/legal/cookies.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we'll treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.

Who We Share It With

We don't sell your personal information. We do share it in limited circumstances:

Service providers who help us operate — payment processors, shipping companies, email platforms, cloud hosting, analytics tools, and customer support software. They only access your data to do their job for us, and they're contractually required to protect it.

Advertising platforms to deliver relevant ads and measure how they perform. You can opt out of this — see Your Rights below.

Shopify, as our store platform, processes your data as part of running the Services. See Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy for details on how they handle it.

Authorities, when required by law, court order, or to protect against fraud, enforce our policies, or defend our legal rights. Also in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.

You direct us to, such as when you post a review or connect a social account.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need to meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. After you delete your account, we may retain certain records for up to 7 years. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong or incomplete
  • Delete your information (subject to some legal exceptions)
  • Send your data to you or another service in a portable format
  • Opt you out of targeted advertising
  • Limit how we use your data in certain situations
  • Withdraw consent where our processing is based on it
  • Appeal if we deny a request

To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@psillysip.com. We'll verify your identity first and respond within the timeframe required by law — typically 30 days. We will never treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

To stop marketing emails: Every promotional email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also just email us and we'll take care of it. We'll still send transactional emails about your orders and account.

EU, EEA, and UK Residents

If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, a few additional things apply:

Our legal bases for processing your data are: performing our contract with you (order fulfillment), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, marketing, improving the service), consent (where we've specifically asked for it), and legal obligation.

You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority if you believe we've mishandled your data.

Where we transfer your data outside the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what we collect, use, and disclose about you. You can request deletion of your information, opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, limit the use of sensitive personal information, and exercise all of these rights without facing any discrimination from us.

We don't sell personal information for money. We do share certain identifiers and browsing activity with advertising partners, which may count as a "sale" or "share" under California law. You can opt out by emailing us or by sending a GPC signal through your browser.

International Transfers

We're based in Canada and use service providers in the US and elsewhere. Your information may be processed in countries with different privacy laws than your own. Where that happens, we put appropriate safeguards in place to make sure it stays protected.

Children

Our services aren't for anyone under 16 and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think your child has shared information with us, email help@psillysip.com and we'll delete it promptly.

Security

We use industry-standard security — TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit, secure payment processing, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure and we can't guarantee absolute protection, but we take this seriously. Use a strong, unique password and don't share your account credentials.

Links to Other Sites

Our site may link to third-party websites we don't control. This policy doesn't cover those sites. We recommend reading their privacy policies before sharing anything with them.

Supplement Disclaimer

Psilly Sip products are dietary supplements. Statements on our website have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration or Health Canada. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any health-related information you share with us — through surveys or support conversations — is used only to improve our products and services, and is protected the same way as everything else in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

We'll update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice on the site.
